This U-channel/breakaway base kit is designed to breakaway from itself upon impact.
Designed for breakaway upon impact. The 3-ft base is set into the ground or pavement. The post is splice-fastened onto the base with hardware (included). Base and post are heavy-weight grade (2 lb. per foot).
Approved by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) by meeting the NCHRP-350 criteria.
