Alpha Communication 4886 High-Security Call Station

The Jeron Model 4886 High-Security Call Station w/Reset Switch is used on the Pro-Alert 480 System to communicate with staff at the Master Console from remote areas. The station is equipped with a single call button and a key reset switch and provides two-way voice communication. Pressing the call button on the station activates a steady green call placed LED, emits a tone once, and annunciates at the Master Console(s) or pocket pager(s). When staff at the Master Console answer the call, the red monitor LED lights steadily and the alert tone sounds once to indicate audio connection. Hands-free, two-way voice communication may be conducted with the Master Console using the Remote Call Station's built-in loudspeaker. If an acknowledged call is placed on hold, the Remote Call Station green LED indicator flashes, the red LED extinguishes, and a pulse tone is emitted every two seconds. Calls may be reset at the calling station with the key reset switch or canceled at the Master Console. After the call is canceled, the LED indicators extinguish and communication is terminated. The 4886 High-Security Call Station is equipped with an 11 gauge stainless steel faceplate with a brushed finish for flush wall mounting on a 3-gang backbox or surface mounted on a Model 4317 surface box or equiv-alent. Wiring connections utilize standard RJ-45 for Cat-5 cable to next remote station and/or to bus station port on the Main Control.
