Alpha Communication AS1 Amplified Clean Room Speaker

The AS1 is designed for normal use as a flush or surface mounted Auxiliary Amplified Speaker Unit, where easy cleaning and wipe-down sterilization is required. It is used with the model BBF863 (flush) or BBS863 (surface) backbox.The station's frontplate is fully covered with a thin Antimicrobial film, protecting the station's loudspeaker and microphone. The station is specially designed for use in hospital operating rooms, patient isolation rooms, biological laboratories, restaurants and clean room manufacturing, etc. The Antimicrobial film frontplate with speaker and microphone allows for normal hands-free conversation with a range of approx. 3-5 meters (10-15 feet).
