Details: Alpha Communication IN024A 24 Input Serial Encoder Board

The Alpha Communications IN024A 24-input Decoder Boards are used for a variety of applications. The primary use is for capturing up to 24 voltage (or dry contact) inputs from an entry intercom or call station (or up to 144 when used in a matrix configuration with some additional components), and sending the proper RS232 data to a PC which is running VisitorVerifier or AlphaEntry (or other) Alpha Communications software.The IN024A boards are designed to easily surface mount right onto the finished wall by using the mounting holes provided for screw mounting, along with the provided plastic stand-offs.

Program up to 12 × 12 matrix, based on application. Pins not used as Rows or Columns can be used as individual inputs (requires additional components for grater than 24 inputs).
DB9 female connector for RS232 hookup
No special drivers required
