The Alpha Communications POES008 8 Port PoE Ethernet Switch is used primarily with the AlphaTouch IP video-intercom systems to allow connections to video-intercom monitors, video entry door stations, concierge/security guard master stations and external IP cameras.The POES008 is an 8-Port 10/100Mbps IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet Switch with a total of 130 watts of PoE power (up to 150W total power consumption); all 8 ports provide up to 15.4W each. It also has one Ethernet uplink port to allow for communication without sacrificing any PoE ports.
