Details: Alpha Communication RY012AM 12VDC Relay Support Module
The Alpha Communications RY012AM specialty relay modules are used for a variety of reasons. They are primarily used with room calling stations on the AlphaEcall 200 series emergency-call systems. It can also be used to provide a 'Form C' relay contact from virtually any 12VDC input source. The RY012AM can even be powered directly from a 12VDC power supply.As long as a 12VDC source is present, the RY012AM will engage, providing a normally-open and a normally closed set of contacts, with a shared 'common' screw terminal.The RY012AM relays are designed to easily surface mount right onto the finished wall by means of self-stick mounting tabs (provided by others) or by using the mounting holes provided for screw mounting. Convenient mounting holes also allow these relays to be mounted behind calling devices by means of a cable tie or wire wrap.
