Alpha Communications model SS105B and T1640 Class 1 (primary)/Class 2 (secondary) plug-in transformers were designed for quick and easy installation in applications where pigtail-type transformers are impractical or unsightly. They are particularly suitable for use in home or office installations, or in areas where the transformer must be exposedBoth transformers can be secured to the electrical outlet with a set screw for secure installation, once plugged in to the wall outlet. A built-in thermal fuse protects these transformers from overheating and igniting. Secondary connections are made to convenient screw terminals. Both models are U.L. listed for class II (secondary) indoor wiring, and are internally fused.
