The Alpha Communications WSM501 Wireless Support Module is for use with the AlphaEcall 200 (AEC200) Series Wireless Emergency Call System. When the WSM501 is connected to the WPS501 Bed Station or the WSS510 Staff Station, the WSM501 operates as a wireless device in the AlphaEcall 200 (AEC200) system. When properly installed, the WSM501 / WPS501 assembly is typically located adjacent to a patient's bed (stainless steel and other metal fixtures may interfere with signal transmission).The WSM501 is based on EchoStream spread spectrum technology and transmits signals at the 900 MHz frequency. It includes a universal transmitter and a pre-assembled 6-pin wiring harness for connection to the WPS501 Bed Station or WSS510 Staff Station, as well as two (2) pigtail wires to connect to the model# RY024AM relay module. The WSM501 requires no other wiring connections and is powered by a user-replaceable 3V lithium battery.
