PVC Schedule 80 Coupling, Female Pipe Thread × Female Pipe Thread, Fitting is dark gray in color. Joined with solvent cement conforming to ASTM D2564. PVC Schedule 80 pressure fittings with straight, angular turns must be used. Do NOT use fittings with gradual sanitary turns for pressure systems. Standards ASTM D1785, ASTM D2467, NSF Standard 14, NSF Standard 61. Dimensional Standard Schedule 80 Iron Pipe Size (IPS). Cell Class 12454 (Type 1). Material Code PVC 1120. Max. Working Temp: 140F. For special applications, threaded connections, unions and flanges, a temperature de-rating factor must be used to determine the pressure rating at temperatures hotter than 73F. Joining Method Solvent Weld Joints - Solvent Cements must meet ASTM D2534. Primer should be IPS P-70 or Oatey Industrial Grade. May be flanged with Schedule 80 flanges.
