The ekey home converter KNX RS-485 is used to trigger functions in home automation systems based on the KNX home automation bus. The functions are triggered by a recognized finger on the ekey home or ekey multi system. Even an unrecognized finger can trigger specific functions. The smart home's behavior can therefore be adapted to the person entering. This converter is intended for use in both domestic and business applications. The ekey home converter KNX RS-485 is designed for DIN rail mounting in a distribution box on a 35 mm DIN rail and for use in protected interior areas. To operate the converter, you will also need a compatible finger scanner and control panel, a suitable power supply, and the product database for the ETS programming environment.
