Details: Fingersafe MK1-BXL Finger Guards for Commercial Door Hinges Extra Wide (Pull Side Only)

Fingersafe offers no resistance or restriction to the door operation and allows over 180 degrees of operation. It protects the full length of the door on each side of the hinged end of door. The MKl-A is a flexible, accordion shaped fitting designed to actually eject fingers from being trapped or crushed in the "push" side of doors. When the door is closed the fitting is compressed, but when the door is opened the fitting extends and provides a protective covering over the hinged end space. The accordion piece lies flat against the frame when the door is closed for aesthetically pleasing design. MKl-A units are installed via a fixing strip which allows easy access to the hinge for maintenance.

  • The MK1-BXL finger pinch protector guard for door hinges is installed on the hinge-pin or pull-side of the door. It is double the width of our original MK1-B to accommodate XL barrel hinges.
  • Retrofitted using screws or 3-M adhesive tape (supplied on request) for glass doors.
  • Stock size is 84″ color: Grey, Black and White** 95″ or custom sizes are available on request. Please write custom cut size under notes upon checkout.
  • Can be easily cut to size on site
