Each set of Industrial Stair Mats requires one Power Unit to allow power to flow to the mats.
120V Stair Mats require model HR-P and 240V Stair Mats require model HR-PB to connect the system to an elecrical outlet.
Up to 12 amps can be connected on a single 6 ft Power Unit. If your connected mats exceed 12 amps, you will have to split up the mats and add a second Power Unit to plug into a separate outlet. Additionally, if you are ordering Stair Mats for more than one location you must order a power unit for each location.The unit contains a watertight connector that will allow it to connect to the first or last Stair Mat in your system. The Power Unit is rainproof and is designed to be left outside for the entire winter season.
