The HCS Basement with Booster Fan unit constantly maintains balanced air pressure so that unconditioned air from the outside does not make its way into the basement. While foundation vents allow for arbitrary air flow of unconditioned air, the unit is sensible and controlled ventilation to expel the damp, polluted air and replenish it with a conditioned, drier air mass transforming the environment in the basement.

For maximum efficiency, we installed the carbon monoxide detector on the booster fan unit.

You can further enhance your indoor air quality by pairing your HCS myHome system with our "SRV45" standalone air treatment units. For optimal comfort throughout your home, up to three SRV45 units can be connected to a single HCS myHome system. The SRV45 units, which are available as an option and sold separately, are automatically recognized as secondary units and operate according to the control logic of the main HCS myHome unit.
