- Internal and external lever handles are fitted at different heights
- The internal lever has a dual function, when it is lifted up to activate privacy it simultaneously throws the deadbolt and activates the external indicator. Depressing the internal lever will withdraw both the latchbolt and deadbolt in one action as well as re-setting the indicator. The external lever only operates the latchbolt. The external emergency release will always override the privacy function.
