The HS_SF Series Half Surface Continuous Geared Safety Hinge is designed mainly for retrofit work in child care and nursing facilities, and is applied to the surface of the door. This hinge is available in standard and heavy duty models.

- For use with hollow metal frames where inset conforms to SDI specifications
- Use on swinging type fire doors
- Special FirePins are only required on 3-Hour (A-Label) assemblies.
- Special hinge reinforcements are not required
- Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers? standard is acceptable
- Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised
- Guaranteed for the life of the opening against defects in material or workmanship (HD only)
