The SPFM_SLI Special Full Mortise Short Leaf Inset Continuous Geared Hinge is designed for door and frame applications where the hinge leaf may interfere with the weatherstrip, thermo-break or applied stop of the frame. This hinge is applied to the frame rabbet and door edge, and is available in standard and heavy duty models.

- Wood screws available on request
- Special FirePins are only required on 3-Hour (A-Label) assemblies
- Certain door and frame conditions may require an extra 1/32"-1/16" clearance
- Excessive clearance on fire rated assemblies may violate the requirements for NFPA 80
- Special hinge reinforcements are not required
- Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers' standard is acceptable
- Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised
- Certifications:- Health Product Declaration (HPD), UL 10C - Standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, ANSI/BHMA Standard A156.26
