The 55 Series Checkmate is a standard-duty stop and holder designed for moderate traffic, medium-weight interior doors.

- For use on interior, single acting doors
- Maximum opening is 110 degrees
- Standard door thickness is 1-3/4"
- Hold open and stop functions
- Heavy shock absorber spring provides 5-7 degrees compression before dead stop
- Durable slide block and shock block
- Complete screw pack with thru-bolts for door, plus wood and machine screws for frame
- Torx screws optional for security applications, heavy-duty units should be considered for high security applications
- 3/4" square channel
- Can be used on doors that do not have surface or floor closers
- Stop is independent of any door closing hardware
