The 8HD Series Checkmate is an extra heavy-duty, surface-mounted stop and holder designed for high-traffic interior or exterior doors that withstand heavy abuse.
Features
- High traffic, heavy abuse applications
- Heavy duty construction

- For use on interior or exterior, single or double acting doors
- Maximum opening is 110 degrees
- 1-3/4" minimum door thickness
- Hold open and stop functions
- Heavy shock absorber spring provides 6 degrees compression before dead stop
- Hanging means other than standard butts or offset pivots require special templating and pricing; consult factory
- Complete screw packet with thru-bolts for door, plus wood and machine screws for frame
- For security areas, Torx screws are optional
- Helps protect door and frame in abusive situations
- Can be used on doors that do not have surface or floor closers
- Stop is independent of any door closing hardware
