The H28 × 587 arm, is a single-acting, center-hung floor closer for extra-heavy, high-traffic interior or exterior doors weighing up to 1000lbs.
Features

- H340 top pivot included
- Available non-hold open (N) or selective hold open (S) at same degree as dead stop
- Built-in positive dead stop prevents doors from swinging beyond the desired opening degree; specify 85°, 90°, 95° or 105°
- For high traffic or extra heavy doors (2" min. thickness)
- 587 is a special side load arm for 1-3/4" thick doors; this arm allows pivot point to be moved away from pivot edge of door - minimum 2-3/4" backset
- Separate and independent valves for closing speed, latch speed, and backcheck
- Cast iron cement case
- Not allowed for fire rated doors
- Frame stop required on the header at lock side; if not supplied by frame manufacturer, Norton Rixson 60131 recommended
- Available with floor plate or threshold installation
- Furnished with wood and machine screws
- Door sizes up to 4'0" × 8'6" (1219 × 2591mm)
- Door weight up to 1000lbs.
