EFX-1A BASYS® EFX Infrared Standard Crown Kit The EFX-1 BASYS® EFX infrared standard crown kit can be used on all BASYS faucets. The standard crown is a bowed chrome crown design. The crown can be easily replaced using the provided hex key/Allen wrench. The BASYS faucet offers three crown options; in addition to the EFX-1 standard, the EFX-3-A solar crown is available as well as the EFX-4-A solar guided handwashing crown. For all BASYS faucets maintenance can be done above the deck by removing the crown. Once removed, the water can be turned off by rotating the solenoid caddy, the spray head can be accessed for cleaning and replacement if needed and the batteries can be replaced as well. On the side of the crown, there are indicator lights that can be used for diagnostics including battery life, solenoid condition and power-up mode. All electronics are sealed to an IP-67 rating and all electrical contacts are gold plated.
