Townsteel EKO29 e-Kontos 2900 Grade 1 Electronic Escutcheon Mortise Lockset

e-Kontos 1B 2900 series is an escutcheon mortise lockset that provides privacy function designed to restrict access to user codes once the deadbolt is extended. The lock will typically be used for rooms needing privacy from others such as bathrooms, rest areas, and meeting rooms. To unlock the lock the user must use a valid code. Once inside, the user extends the deadbolt using the inside thumb turn and automatically disables user codes or service codes. The privacy function will remain active until the deadbolt is retracted. All user codes and service codes are disabled when the privacy function is active. Master, Sub-Master, Manager code, or a key can always override this privacy function
