Vibra-Tite 486 is a Non-Curing Thread Sealant with PTFE which can be used to seal against many liquids and gases both under pressure and under vacuum. It is an ideal sealant for water pipes. It can be used on metal and most plastics. The operating temperature range for this material in most applications is about -50 degreeC to 150 degreeC.
