Details: Pemko X25M Series Continuous Geared Hinge For 2-1/2" Doors

The X25M Series Continuous Geared Hinge is, designed specifically for 2-1/2" thick doors, and features thicker leaves than a traditional continuous hinge. This versatile hinge is ideal for new door installations with electrical modifications as it allows for a deeper cavity for electrical wires.

Features

  • Extra heavy duty
  • Designed for door applications with electrical modifications
  • For use with 2-1/2" thick doors
  • Applied to conceal both leaves for safety and security
  • Certain door and frame conditions may require an extra 1/32"-1/16" clearance
  • Excessive clearance on fire rated assemblies may violate the requirements for NFPA 80
  • Distributes door weight evenly, extending life of door
  • Makes the door operate smoothly
  • Electrical wiring is concealed to prevent tampering
  • Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers' standard is acceptable
  • Special hinge reinforcements are not required
  • Certifications: Health Product Declaration (HPD), UL 10C - Standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, ANSI/BHMA Standard A156.26
  • Note: Door edge must be square on hinge side. For beveled edge doors, additional clearances are required.
